Completing the degree of Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (Chemical Engineering) in 1996, I love the study of Chem Eng, Biochemistry and understanding the "2nd Law of Thermo" in action!
Awarded the Graduate Certificate in Marketing in 2001, I've always loved the study of Consumer Driven Design and working in great teams that put the consumer first.
Career Experiences
For 9 years, I had the pleasure of working with some of the most entrepreneurial colleagues. Developing Mars Snackfood's first Australian patent in Heat Stable Confectionery was a highlight.
My 4 1/2 years at Cadbury were life changing. 2 of those years working in Cairo, Egypt. I would not swap this experience for anything! Installing new manufacturing lines, I learnt so much about culture and about myself.
The opportunity to Head Up the Fonterra Innovation Team in New Zealand was a Dream! In 4 years, we launched awesome products and increased the rate of innovation by 300%. Those launches remain in the market today.
McCormick is the worlds largest supplier of Herbs and Spices. With regular visits to the head office in USA, I helped grow R&D capability across the Region and grew our technical teams in India, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, China & Australia.
Radvocates Pty. Ltd.started in 2017. Partnering with Simplot Foods, it was a pleasure to be part of such a constructive team, finding solutions to increase line efficiencies by over 20%.
Since this time, we've continued to focus on latest trends and developments in the food industry along with expertise in latest software for robust and agile product development and quality systems.
As part of the private equity growth phase of Patties, opportunities to integrate technical teams through acquisitions and to grow a new brand from scratch were career highlights.
